Clematis Elf
A rare variety which is a real gem. From the clematis master
breeder Barry Fretwell, this clematis produces outward facing
flowers with a pure white inner sepal, and outside a rosy mauve
colouring edged in white. The depth of the colour is sunlight
dependent, so deeper colour in sun to an almost pearlescent
colour in shade. Great scent too! The parentage is Viticella
alba luxurians and texensis Etoile Rose, so you would expect it
to be a good flowerer and reliable grower, and you would be right.
Height is 6 - 8ft.
